My cats

Bobby.
Bobby is a 6 year old grey tabby. His favourite things to do are sniff catnip (he loves it) and sleep. He is very humble despite his massive posture and strength and loves to play with my other cat, Rosie and my dog, Floyd. He often makes loud meows when Rosie isn't around

Rosie.
Rose is a 4 year old tabby cat.Her favourite things to do are going outside and begging for food. She is very conceited and sporty. Due to her small figure she is very nimble and balanced and goes on daring expedition to the neighbours' roofs. She also loves taunting Floyd, my dog, when he's locked in his cage.

10 facts about Siamese cats

Siamese cats are my favourite breed, popular for their independent and mischievous nature. They are the most playful and teachable cats but there are some facts you may not know about these Thai cats listed below:

1. When first shown in England in 1871, Siamese cats were described as “an unnatural nightmare of a cat” because of their coloring.

2.Siamese cats can be trained to fetch, retrieve, walk on a harness, and do some tricks.

3. Their Thai name means “moon diamond”.  How cute!

4.A Siamese cat’s eyes are blue because the gene that is responsible for the coat pattern restricts the amount of pigment in the eyes.

5. Siamese cats are born white, with their markings and patterns developing around 4 weeks of age.

6. Different Siamese cats have different body tops.  The traditional Siamese cat has a smaller body with a triangular face.

7.Siamese cats have one of the longest life expectancies of domestic cats, around 20 years of age.

8.Siamese cats usually have dark brown markings, but can also have lighter marks in grey, lilac, and frosty white.

9. Siamese cats are known for their vocal abilities, making a variety of noises to communicate their desires.

10. Siamese cats tend to get extremely attached to their human counterparts.

Top 5 Apps for you and your cat

As you can tell this blog is cat crazy and I love our little feline friends! That's why I've compiled, for you and your cat, 5 amazing cat apps that cat lovers will adore.Provided you trust your cat and hope they don't leave any scratched, gnawed or bitten technology.

5) Crazy Cat (free)
This app, as the title suggests, is a game for your feline which entertains both you and your cat. Within the app there are several mini-games which involve small animated creatures (e.g a mouse) running across the screen. This encourages your cat to swipe and bat at your screen at their tasty animated prey and gain points each time they get a connection! The faster the prey the more points your cat will be awarded! Free on Android however there are other ones                     available for IOS (IOS game)

4) Paint for Cats ( 2.50$ or £1.50)
Similar to crazy cat but with an artistic twist! Release your cats' inner Picasso as they continue to bat the screen at their animated prey whilst creating a master piece of splatters and swipes. This is one of my favourites in this list! Who says cats are colour blind?

3) Pocket Pond (free)
Watch in awe as your cat ponders at why he can't attack the fish that are clearly floating around in front of him/her. This app brings to life a magical pond full of tasty meals your cat cannot obtain no matter how much they batter the screen. The best part is you can interact with the fish and scare them away. The added sound effects such as ripples and splashes are a bonus. Click here for Android + IOS

2) Cat Piano (free)
Whilst your cat will never be David Meowy or Meowly Cirus you can use this app to make cat masterpieces or CAT-astrophes.This app plays series of cat noises, high and low, to create music for your cat to enjoy although you will never understand the lyrics.
Click here for IOS And here for an Android alternative

1) Friskies Games For Cats (website)
Although it's not really an app it is the best on this list! Just add it to your home screen on IOS and Android to play. It is loaded with a range of different games including Cat fishing, Jitterbug, pull 'n' play and many more! Your cat can get hooked for hours on the cat fishing and cat fishing 2. Your cat will also get pulled right in to pull n play! There are loads of fun, challenging and exciting games for your cat to play.
